All girls are welcome to join our girls football teams regardless of ability or if you have played football before.

Girls football started at the eagles in 2013 with the formation of an U12 girls side. Since then girls football has become an integral part of our club.

In 2019 we are fielding 4 Girls teams

• U10  Born 2009, 2010 & 2011
• U12  Born 2007 & 2008
• U14  Born 2005 & 2006
• U16 Born 2003 & 2004

U10 girls is a modified non competitive competition which focuses on skill development and fun.

U12 girls still play on a smaller field and include some modified rules and the focus is still on skill and football development. This age group is considered competitive and does participate in finals.

U14 – u18 girls football becomes more competitive but a large focus of our program is still on skill and football development.

In 2019 Ferntree Gully Eagles fielded their first ever Womens team.

This now provides a pathway for our top age juniors to play senior football.
