After a couple of hard weeks form wise, our boys really stepped up and played some good footy against The Basin. We spoke before the game about playing with purpose and effort and to work as a team and the boys certainly did that in spades!
Even with The Basin kicking the first goal of the match, there were good signs that the boys were up and playing with a lot more structure and poise and were not being selfish with their decision making.
Full marks to The Basin who kept it pretty tight with us for the first half with the game being fairly even but in the second half we came out strong and dominated gameplay. Still a long way from where we want to be but from a coaching stand point that was the best we have played all year. Well done boys!
